We donated them all to an old folks home. I do wish I had pressed a couple flowers from my bouquet, but I became separated from it after we left the reception and not sure where it ended up…maybe we’ll recreate the flowers for our one year so I can preserve some.

The shadow box idea sounds cool.  I had thought of leaving them on my grandmother’s grave the day after but I might get a special corsage made to place there instead since the grounds keepers clear out the flowers each week.  My grandmother loved flowers and I know she would have had so many ideas about my wedding flowers.

I had mine preserved and it hangs in my room.  I had the thought about preserving flowers a few months before the wedding and researched options.  I loved how they came out.

I hung my bouquet upside down to let it dry. And quickly forgot about it. A year later I threw the dusty dried out thing away. I’m sentimental about a lot of things but I guess old flowers didn’t make the list.

Mine will be made with preserved flowers. I plan to put it in a shadow box after the wedding.

I plan on doing this! Saving some of the petals and the cork from our wine or champagne and putting it in a glass christmas ornament. This bride also used the ribbon off her bouqet to tie a bow on top of the ornament! So cute!

I also saw where you could use your flowers to make beads for jewelry

My mother-in-law dried my flowers and I put them in a display case with our invite. It is now displayed in our living room and I love it! Sorry for the dark photos!
