I think I’ve mostly seen ppl take pics in whatever season is currently happening. I wouldn’t use any epics as Christmas cards if you are dressed in a sundress, but it would also look weird if u were wrapped up in a coat and the background was obviously spring/summer.

Nope. We took our e-pics in Novemeber, and we dressed for fall.

I’ve never looked at an engagment picture or STD picture and said, “Huh, they’re wearing outfits for spring…but their wedding is in winter!” Wear whatever you want.

I would dress to match whatever the background/setting is. If you are doing a shoot outdoors in wildflowers, I would do the sundress. If you are doing something like a urban loft setting, then maybe the black lace dress is a better fit. Either way, I think it is fine to not match the season of your wedding or the theme of your wedding since people know these are epix anyway. In addition, I assume both the wedding and the photos reflect who you are as a couple so in some sense, they will still “match”.

@cherryblossomlove:  I didn’t get my trial on the same day as my epix but I’ve seen on a lot of MUA sites that they encourage doing the trial on the same day as the epix. With this in mind, I’m sure they’re used to adjusting the look to fit. I would let her know ahead of time that this is what you are planning “just in case”.

Actually, I’m doing my trial and then my boudoir shoot and they’re adjusting it to fit even though I said I like a fairly dramatic wedding look anyway. I’m sure it will turn out great!
