Nope. What’s done is done. All you can do is make healthy choices starting now.

I got my BFP a bit earlier, but I drank the weekend before I found out and I definitley didn’t care about what I was eating. I didn’t worry about it.

This is going to sound really terrible, but the week before I found out I was pregnant I went to Cedar Point and rode a bunch of roller coasters, and also got drunk. I pretty much never do either of those two things more than once or twice a year, so it was terrible timing! In my defense, I took a pregnancy test before doing those two things and they came back negative…that changed a few days after. But my doctor wasn’t concerned – I’m 7 months pregnant now and everything has been perfectly normal with the baby.

@NJmeetsBX:  Given the fact that you didn’t do any drugs and only had a few drinks, and people who are serious drug addicts quit after getting their BFP and have healthy babies I think you are probably in the clear. The first few months of TTC I was so careful, not drinking in my TWW, no caffeine, etc. After 9 months and no BFP, I live my life. I don’t do anything crazy but I have a few beers on occation. I push myself to beat my running times, etc. Good luck ๐Ÿ™‚

What’s done is done, no point worrying about it now and adding extra stress ๐Ÿ˜‰

Just think, there are some women who don’t find out until even later! My mom didn’t know she was pregnant with my older brother until she was 20 weeks – crazy! Hehe I have heard from lots of ladies that they ended up getting pregnant once they started to relax about TTC ๐Ÿ™‚

Good luck and I wish you a happy healthy pregnancy/baby!

@Wonderstruck:  Not to thread jack, but 32 weeks is actually considered 8 months! That blew my mind when I read that.

@iheartnerds:  OMG Sarah you’re right and just blew my mind. This is going really fast all of the sudden…I should probably finish painting the nursery, huh?

Darling Husband and I went to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico for 8 days before we found out I was pregnant. You can only imagine the amount of food and drinks I had there! Everyday from 11am to 2pm it was Happy Hour 1/2 price double drinks at the pool bar and beach..so yeah..BAD!

I’m sure you’ll be fine. The most important thing is taking a prenatal with DHA/Folic Acid to keep your baby from developing neural tube defects and it looks as if you’ve done that, so I’m sure baby will be fine. 4 drinks isn’t a huge deal that early on (especially since you didn’t know), so I wouldn’t stress about it. Just let your doctor know and try to make healthy choices from here on out.

@NJmeetsBX:  Don’t even sweat it!  I was about 13 weeks along when I found out about baby number 2!  My first son was only 3 months old when I got pregnanat with the second!  I was nursing and thought I just hadn’t gotten my period  back yet.  Well…when I started leaking colostrum again, I took a test.  Lo and behold!  It felt like the shortest pregnancy ever!  They had to induce me at 35 weeks, because his cord was wrapped around his neck.  He’s perfectly healthy and one of the happiest kids I know!

Happy and healthy 9 months mama!
