I am 26 now. I was always around ~135-145 in high school and college. Didn’t feel 100% comfortable with my body, but felt like I was an “acceptable” weight (for myself). Now, I am 170 LBS!!!!! UGH!!!!! I gained 25 lbs in the past year– law school stress, a lot of pizza. Trying to get back to at least 145 for the wedding. Ideally, I’d like to be 135-140 by the time I get married!
My Fiance has gained around the same, too. We were in such better shape when we first met. We’re making it our project to lose weight together.

For me it was the exact opposite. I weighed 135lbs when I graduated high school and now (thankfully) I’m at a healthy 124lbs which for someone who is 5’2″ is a big deal. I’m still trying to get to 122lbs but I won’t complain about my weight. I was much heavier in high school because of the poor eating habits I had. Cafeteria food is terrible, fried everything! When I wasn’t eating burgers and French fries, it was tacos or a huge peanut butter cookie and flavored water. (makes me sick just thinking of it) *Yuck!*
now I work out and eat as healthy as I can. SO and I work very hard to eat right and get the proper exercuse that we need and we are very happy now.

Yup. Gained 50 pounds after high school. I’m 5’7″ and weighed 135 lbs max in HS. Lost a good amount, my weight kind of fluctuates between 137-140 lately. Still hoping to lose the last 5 pounds soon. It really does sneak up on you!

I weighed my heaviest in highschool, I’m about 30lbs less now – but it seems most of my friends, especially females, put on a few pounds after highschool. I don’t think it’s realisitic to remain the same weight you were as a teenager, generally speaking.

Um, yes. Thank you nursing school. . .I’m halfway done and realizing that all my clothes are getting tight. I’m trying to get into a regular exercise program and stop mindlessly eating while studying. It’s hard though.

I dieted throughout high school and was in retrospect, too thin then. I gained almost immediately when I was in college – about 25 pounds in total. I was at a good happy weight when I graduated. just before I got engaged, I had an injury and gained another 20. I have since fluctuated between happy weight and 20 over.

lamington: I actually lost weight after high school and in my 20’s, I wasn’t chubby really but I guess I lost all of the puppy chub. Then I turned 31 and I gained about 20lbs 🙁

Currently 4 years out of high school and I was around 100 lbs before. Gained about 12 pounds in a span of 1 year. Right now I dropped some weight and I’m 107. Definitely not as toned as I used to be but still X-small. I keep a close eye on my weight and I do have the luxury of eating what I want and not gaining much weight. I’ll admit though, I eat like a bird and frequently through out the day which helps keep my weight down.

Yes. I was super, super skinny is high school due to being on Adderall. Because of that, I thought I could eat anything and get away with it. I was so very wrong! Between the ages of 19 and 23, I ended up gaining a whopping 45lbs!
Thankfully, it tapered off when I was around 24/25, and I got back down to a healthy weight. Still, even at a healthy weight, I will never be as tiny as I was in highschool, mostly because even with the weight off, my body changed just due to age.
