Someone at our venue plated food for us from the buffet, and they brought us back some of everything. My husband and I both actually got to eat until we were full. It was amazing. 🙂

We made sure that we sat down and ate our meal from start to finish. We decided for what we were paying we sure as heck where going to eat our meals!

I’ve been married twice. I ate both times. I really don’t understand how brides end up not eating. After we came in and had our first dance, we sat down. The appetizer was already at our seats. We ate it and the salad, and then while dinner was being served and we ate it, we had our toasts. A few guests came by the say hi, but for the most part, our guests stayed seated (except to visit the bar) until they were finished eating the entreé.

I had plenty of time to eat, but I was so full of adrenaline I didn’t have much appetite.

Well, so, we had a chance to eat but…when I sat down in front of my food, I ended up picking at it!  I was so excited I was hardly hungry!  That or my BMs made sure I ate throughout the day and our cocktail hour!  Which sucks cuz our food was the best food ever!! 🙂

i didn’t get anything from the cocktail hour and that sucked b/c i planned on having some amazing, trendy food that i would love:  smoked salmon on a potato rosti, blue crab cakes, glazed tuna with wasabi mayo, mushroom and leek tarts, etc, etc.  everyone was raving about the hors d’ oeuvres.

it was a plated dinner and we both ate all 3 courses.  we didn’t get bombarded with tinkling of the glasses (we made them kiss first), so we only had to kiss 3 times throughout the entire dinner.  so glad we got to our dessert.  it was the best creme brulee i have ever had in my life.

Another vote for no appetite, I had maybe half of my meal. All of the soup though, soup was a perfect choice.

I had heard about people having difficulty eating during the reception, so we spoke to the venue and they wrapped up food for us and sent it to our room! Best desicion we ever made!!! I was too excited and my dress was too tight for me to enjoy the food, but it made it taste all the better afterwards.

I got to eat a bit, but not as much as I would have liked.

My husband came up with a pretty brilliant strategy, and he ate until he was full.  During dinner, when everyone kept coming up to talk to us, he stuffed food into his face as fast as he could while they were talking.  Then they were forced to wait while he chewed and swallowed before he could answer them.

I had a chance to eat, but both DH and I had NO appetite.  We each managed a few bites, and then couldn’t eat anymore.  This was such a shame, because the food was SO good.  I had been looking forward to it since the tasting.
