I BETTER!!!! People know I love food. They joke and say I’m a big girl trapped inside a little girl’s body. Some people are stunned by how much I can eat and how little I stay. My plan is to walk into the reception, Fiance and I have our first dance, then a dad/daughter dance, then we are seated and we eat. We are doing the toasts during dinner. The MOHs and the Bridesmaid or Best Man are getting me and FI’s plate, so I’m enjoying my meal. After we eat then we are makin our rounds to say hi to each table while they are eating (if they still are) after the toasts. Maybe they wont want to say much because they are trying to eat and wont hold long conversations so we can move on to the next table. We are only having approx 75 guests and about 8 tables maybe. This is my strategy, and I hope all works out.

We did!! We both filled our plates from the stations, sat down, and ate. It was soooo good.

That’s exactly how I felt–I was so energized and I just wasn’t hungry! We took a few bites but mostly we were up and about doing our rounds and talking to guests.

I made it one of my MOH’s duties to make sure that Fiance and I get to eat. We both have to eat, actually, because we’re both pretty hypoglycemic and get pretty sick if we don’t.

We ate our entire meals. We even got to enjoy the hor d’oeurves at cocktail hour. We weren’t going to pay a ridiculous amount of money to feed our nearest and dearest and not enjoy the food ourselves.

One of the DOC’s duties will be to bring us appetizer plates during the cocktail hour- I am NOT missing out on the mac & cheese balls! Also the caterer has said they will serve Fiance & I first- they WANT us to eat. 🙂

The adrenaline was pumping and I didn’t feel that hungry. I had a plate of food, but I hadn’t eaten much all day and it wasn’t enough! I wish I had eaten more, because I ended up fairly drunk at our after-party (not on purpose!) and was totally out of sorts the next day.

I was thinking about having this conversation with DOC to make sure we get a chance to eat too.

I ate a few bites, but I had no appetite and my dress was very tight! My wonderful DOC brought two large tupperware containers and filled them with food for us to eat when we got back to the hotel.

I didn’t get to eat ANYTHING at all. Someone gave me a couple of bites of food but everyone wanted to shake a leg with me. I didn’t want to disappoint anyone. At some point hubby brought me a glass of water. That was it. Other than that, I was on the dance floor the ENTIRE time. I wish I had eaten. It was TASTY FOOD.

I will take a plate and leave the reception if it means getting to eat. I am a serious grouch when I’m hungry and I refuse to not eat the food I’m spending a fortune on. Thankfully my friends and family know what a B i can be when I don’t eat, so hopefully they’ll leave me alone. 🙂
Our plan is to come into the reception, first dance (maybe parent dances) and then sit to eat.

We didn’t get to try any of the appetizers but we were the first to go to the buffet for dinner.
