I thought I didn’t want one – but after my best friends wedding she said she couldn’t remember ANYTHING about the ceremony and was so relieved that she had a video of it so she could watch it again. Now I’m kinda regretting that we didn’t get one – but my sister’s boyfriend is gonna video parts of the day for us and edit it for our wedding present – which makes me feel a bit better!

We just asked DH’s Brother-In-Law to film the ceremony. I’m so glad we did as it was all a bit of a blur to the both of us. But Darling Husband is editing it himself.

I really wanted to do away with a videographer– for the price range I was looking at, I realized that I’ll end up with something that looked like my uncle took them.

In fact we already devoted the videographer budget to the photographer’s budget but then we realized that we don’t want to regret not getting a videographer so we just bit the bullet and booked.

And yes, I read about some brides saying that the video was able to get some “details” that they’d otherwise forget.

Not in budget but I’m going to hand off 1-2 flipcams to some people to video the ceremony and toasts and first dance.

I wish we could fit one in the  budget…but Fi doesn’t really see the need for it and he doesn’t think we’ll actually ever watch the video. 🙁 So no videographer for us…

We can’t afford to have one, but I might ask a friend to video the ceremony at least!

I posted about this in an earlier post…but I am not married yet…but the one advice that married ladies have given me is to get a videographer…for most of them who didnt get one…that was their biggest regret. Its such a whirlwind of events that they really needed a recap of the night. So bit the bullet and hired one for $875

I didnt get one and I am so regretting it. We just didnt have the budget for it, but now I am wishing we had moved some things around to get one. I really wish we had some video of that day, but thats just me.

I just booked a videographer.  A recently married friend made me promise to hire one since she really regrets not having one at her wedding.
