Thanks everyone! I ended up getting a wood watch (fits him) with an engraved message from me on the back…. and a PS4. But I’ll save that for his birthday. Now, back to waiting.
@TenderMoni, sounds like we’re in the same boat. We have a trip in two weeks and he pushed for it, so I’m trying really hard not to get my hopes up. I’ve had to fight off disappointment before, so can’t let myself think on it too much. Easier said than done for sure.

Wooden watches are awesome, my husband has two because he loves how lightweight they are and loves the sound of it if he taps it off something 🙂 fingers crossed for you for your trip!

That sounds cute and thoughtful.
My fh wanted his own ‘engagement ring ‘. Infact, his was made before mine.
I had him choose it, I paid for it.
He loves it! And so much, that he now wants to repurpose it at our ceremony, as his wedding band.

I bought my fiancé a version of the love bracelet from Cartier. I plan to get his wedding band from Cartier as well!

kd412 : After my fiance and I went to pick up my engagement ring (we picked it out together, he proposed with a stand in) I bought him McDonalds. LOL.
For our actual wedding – I didn’t buy him a gift per say – but within the first month of getting engaged I bought a small notebook and now carry it everywhere with me. Whenever I feel love or think of somethign about him that I adore – I write it in the notebook so on our wedding day I can give him 18 months of reasons why I love him!

I suggested a watch to my husband, but he said they always got stuck in his arm hair and irritated him :). He’s not really a jewelry guy except for his wedding ring. So instead we went and picked up fancy custom oxford shoes at Allan Edmond. He wore them for the wedding, and wears them to work sometimes. They’re gorgeous shoes.
