When I get married, I will wear my grandmother’s wedding band. The inside of her band had my grandparent’s intials (JJB – FTZ) so, after getting her ring resized and polished, I got both of our initials on the inside. Both sets of initials complement each other perfectly, and I am so excited to wear her band.
My fiance’s ring has nothing engraved on the inside. He’s not sure what he wants, or if he wants anything.
What do you think? Does he need to get his ring engraved?

i think its really up to him..if he wants it engraved then he should get in engraved but i dont think the ring is less meaningful if he doesnt get it engraved

I would ask him… or it would also be nice to surprise him with your initials on it, so you can start your own tradition and pass the rings down.

Thanks bells — I agree with you. Personally I don’t think it’s that big of an issue, but a lot of people have actually been asking me what he’s going to get engraved on his, since mine means so much to me.
Artbee– that is a GREAT idea!! I totally think I may do that for him! Thanks!! 🙂

Only if he wants to. My husband’s ring is tungsten which can’t be engraved.

Should totally be his call!

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy:Tungsten can be engraved by a laser, it’s a little more expensive than etching but looks beautiful!

My fiance is going to get our wedding anniversary engraved on the inside of his ring. That way he has a good way of checking if he forgets. He got the idea from his dad, who did the same thing.
