Several friends helped with the actual wedding– dropping off decoations, setting up programs, picking up and dropping off flowers, running around before ceremony to ensure that groom and I were no where near each other (we had a small venue).
I feel like I need to give gifts to everyone but not sure what is expected! I am planning on sending cards but also was thinking of including gift cards for those who did lots of running around/hard labor (arranging flowers, helping with coordiating)

Send them a sincere thank you card. That is probably enough. However if you REALLY want to give them a gift, offer for them to come over and spend some time with you and your now spouse for dinner/drinks.

Thanks! I’m definitely sending a Thank You card. We live across the country so unforunately we can’t invite them for dinner/drinks unless we pay for their flights 🙂

I, did, but I’m a gift kind of person! I don’t think people who help expect it. I think a nice card and, as the poster above suggested, an offer to have them over for dinner or something would be great. If you have a nice picture of them from the wedding, you could put that in a little frame for them, too.
