OMG I watched that last night! I was appalled at what those people were doing to those poor dogs!

Ha, I thought I was the only one.  I always thought poodle owners were old ladies and socialites from the 80s, but now I know that they have some pretty punky parents.

I had TLC on before that show came on and when the poodle show came on I was like WTF and was totally creeped out.  How awful – those poor dogs. It reminds me of Toddlers and Tiaras…but with dogs.

I saw it on the guide but didn’t watch – good to know I didn’t miss anything!

I loved it…I thought a lot of the work was really creative and far beyond anything I would ever do, and for the most part the dogs appeared to be enjoying the attention. I am not sure about glueing things on them and I kind of viewed that as cheating, but everything else looked fine.

I have a standard poodle and I have never dyed her or glued things on her, but I trim her hair in funky patterns all the time and put bows on her ears. My dog loves grooming time and just views it as extra attention since she loves to be brushed and loved on. She will jump up on the table as soon as I bring it out and wait for her cheese treat, then lay down (I have found it is easier to brush her out if she is laying down) and go to sleep until it is time for the clippers. I think she views it as a massage. I would assume most of the dogs there feel the same way.
