I know we get an 11*17 print in our package that we will hang. I love when people have wedding pictures hung up. But dont do it like this one friend couple we have, their entire house has HER bridal pictures everywhere. I think there is 1 picture of the two of them from their wedding day.

Our photog is gifting us with 4 large prints…. well semi-large. We have a large wall space over our couch that I haven’t found anything to fit yet that wasn’t $$$.. So these pics will go there.

They’ll be 8×12 matted in 16×20 frames

This is what I’m think they’ll be arranged like.. Just an idea =)

We will most likely get a big canvas wrap 16X20 of one of our engagement photos.

For the wedding, I love this collage idea with the multiple frames, that way we can do individual shots, just us shots, and group shots 🙂  Thanks for the idea!!

This is the picture we decided on. It is a 16×20 I think. Thank you to all of the bees who helped me pick! We are in the process of buying our first home now. Once we move in, I will have it professionaly framed. Not sure if I will hang it in the bedroom, above the fireplace or in the foyer.

Our very gracious photographer gave us a 16×20 canvas wrapped picture from our wedding. At first, I felt a little on the narcissistic side hanging it over our fireplace. I love it now because we’ve coupled it with other framed pictures.

We don’t.  We are going to frame an 11 x 14 print I made in the darkroom, I took our engagement shots.  They are amazing, but it was LOT of running!  We don’t have any up now, but we are moving Sept. 30th, and our new place certainly will.

I think the largest we will do is 8×12. My photographer is really pushing the large scale canvases, but I think a poster sized print would be too much.

We definitely will. I’m hoping we get at least one relatively formal portrait-type shot. I love seeing other people’s wedding photos, too. My Future Mother-In-Law has a wall of family wedding photos–I love it.

As far as things looking narcissistic–one of my best friends in college was an art major, and for one project she had to paint a portait in the style of Sargent. I volunteered to model, and she ended up giving me the painting (it’s pretty good! she’s a professional artist now and getting some notoriety). So I have about a 20×20 portrait of myself hanging in our bedroom. It makes me laugh, because it looks so self-centered of me to do that, but people don’t generally see into our bedroom anyway.

I already have the Groupon cavans print for a 16×20 lined up to order.  I’m not sure if I’ll do a wedding part one or just the two of us.  Or maybe buy more canvas prints and do a little collection

Well not so far, but our photographer also has not released the photos to us yet. She’s posted a slideshow, but that’s it so far.

I don’t see a problem hanging a larger wedding photo (11×14, 16×20) in your home. I think it shows you are happy about the day (and I kinda like the canvas wrapped prints). You can go too big (at least I think so). I once went into a friend’s home and there was a bridal portrait in the dining room that, no joke, took up nearly the whole wall.  To me, that’s overkill. 🙂

I can’t decide if I want two smaller ones, or just choose one big one.  (These are not my high def ones, so don’t mind the quality.
