AHHHH! My brother has a little over two months to learn acoustic guitar songs for our ceremony! I just decided on “Storybook Love” (from The Princess Bride) for my walk, but would love suggestions for easy music he can learn for the attendant’s walk and the recessional.
Also, concerning Storybook Love, I can’t find the sheet music! Does anyone know how I can get my hands on it? Also, what the heck are “tabs” in relation to guitars, and does that make a difference in how the sheet music looks?

Tabs are an older type of music notation. If he can read (regular) sheet music then he should be fine. You don’t have to be able to read tabs to play the guitar. Has he ever played the guitar before? It takes awhile to build the callouses on your fingers, and (at least for me) it hurts until you do. He needs to practice daily.

http://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtdFPE.asp?ppn=MN0087118&

He does play, I just don’t want him to put in too much work trying to learn 3 new songs in 2 months :O
That link you posted is the only version I could find – which doesn’t sound anything like what it’s supposed to. I was very disappointed. I don’t know if I’m tone deaf or what, but it doesn’t even seem like the same song 🙁
This is what I would like it to sound like:
Thank you for your help!!!

LittleAnn: My cousin was going to play music for the ceremony, but he unexpectedly had to sell his guitar, so it wont happen now. =(
But the song he was going to play for my walk down the aisle was River Runs Through You.
He was also planning on playing Here Comes the Sun.

LittleAnn: Sorry, I’m a dumbass and didn’t fully read your OP. I have no idea what those things mean, so I’m absolutely no help.

Our friend is a classical guitarist and played Canon in D for the processional. It was so so beautiful!
i have no idea what tabs are (I’m a violinist and our music doesnt use that), but I’m sure your brother knows if he’s a guitarist…
