I wanted one, but our venue doesn’t allow them.

@Jen51287:  I did! It was a “French Lace” design.

I’m not sure if i want one or not.  I went to a wedding where people tripped on the runner!  Not good.

Nope!  I have heard too many horror stories about bride’s and others tripping on the runner, and considering I have two left feet, I opted to do my best at staying upright!

I planned on using one.  I wanted a a tiffany blue one.  My chuppah was black metal with red draping.  I didn’t want much.  I didn’t even want much aisle decor.  I could have ordered one for about $40 but I didn’t want to deal with hauling it with me out of town and setting it up before the wedding so I had my florist take care of the aisle runner.  I sent them a sample swatch of what I wanted.  Someone from the florist office went to the textile showroom and picked out a “high end” (her words, not mine) runner for me that cost a lot more than the $40 if I had purchased it myself.  I showed up on my wedding day, looked down and lost it.  It was a sage green burlap texture runner.  Sage green is not close to tiffany blue and what about my wedding screams burlap to you?  You were obviously doing my flowers.  I had tall floral centerpieces with huge roses, orchids, bells of ireland…on top of a tall vase with illuminated with LEDs.  My bouquets were red peonies. I rented a chandelier from you as the backdrop for my head table.  You are a preferred vendor at my venue so you know my venue and there’s no burlap to be found in the entire city of Las Vegas (except for maybe at this strange textile showroom).  One of my BMs improvised and lined the aisle with rose petals and at least we had the tiffany blue tablecloth on the table at the center of the chuppah.

Yes, this was on my list of “Things that went wrong!!!”

We didn’t have one. I’m super clumsy on a good day. It only gets worse when I’m nervous. That combined with a ballgown was a face plant waiting to happen.
