    @kaylee26:  I have had it since the minute I handed over the old credit card but I just go back to the shop and try it on and love it all over again. I think its normal when you are spending a good amount of money on something and there are so many beautiful options out there.

    I had dress regret. I convinced myself to let it go and that my dress was great. However, when I look back in pictures, I hate that I let my Mom and Mother-In-Law convince me into something traditional. My Darling Husband finally admitted about a month after we were married that he was surprised I didn’t go with something more modern like the rest of my wadrobe. I suffer from dress regret and can’t wait for our 5 year renewal to get the dress I wanted.

    I don’t have any.  I took a long time to choose my dress (I tried it on every couple of months before finally ordering it) and when I went to order it, the lady said they might not be able to get it in on time.  While she was checking on her computer, I was freaking out inside and ready to cry.  Then she said it would be in on time and THAT’s when I knew I had no regrets!  I spent those 30 seconds regretting that I hadn’t done it sooner!

    @Juliepants:  Thats awesome! I ordered mine very early, which I think left me in a position where I had a lot of time to mull over my decision.

    @eeruhlig:  You know, had I ordered it back when I first suspected it was “the one”, I might have had similar thoughts.  I’d try it on, love it, then go home and go from love to like to meh.  Then I’d go try it on again and love it, just like you do.  Glad to hear I’m not the only one!

    I did for a few months while waiting for my dress to come in. I wondered if I should have gone with a less “poofy” dress. But when my dress came in, the regret was alleviated. 🙂

    I kind of freaked out the day after I bought my dress. I had it narrowed down to two dresses and one dress was $1000 less than the other. I ended up going with the more expensive one which was my favorite all along but I think the money freaked me out and I questioned it for a few days. Now I LOVE my dress and can’t wait to wear it.

    I did but only because they are so many beautiful dresses out there. I ended up being so happy that I kept my dress. The day of my wedding when I looked in the mirror I was so happy with my dress! It looked perfect!! 😀

    I had no regrets when I purchased it, but I definitely had them once my dress came in, and I had even more after I saw my wedding pics.  There are many beautiful things about my gown (strapless, designer gown, 100-percent silk, Swarovski crystal beading, ruching/pleating at the bust, clear buttons down the back of the skirt/train, etc.), and I am very thankful that I found it.  However, I dislike many of my wedding pics, and, now that I’ve seen so many other beautiful dresses that I love, if I had it to do all over again, I would have gone to more salons and tried on more dresses. I sometimes wish I had been on Wedding Bee while I was engaged, so I could have asked the bees for feedback.  However, I didn’t join until after I was married.

    Nope, and I ordered mine in January of 2011! And I’m getting married in, oh, 29 days? Lol. I haven’t regretted my dress at all. So I don’t think it’s always those that buy early…considering I chose mine 14 months early and got it like 10 months before the wedding. 🙂

    @mwitter80:    My feelings exactly.

    I let myself be pressured into getting a DB dress as my mom convinced me dresses from any other store would be way too expensive (they’re not, but I didn’t do my research enough to prove that argument incorrect).  I also developed a love of lace dresses but my mom and sister hated lace, so after the first one I tried on, I never tried on another.  I absolutely love lace dresses now and know in my heart that if I had another chance at this, I would most certainly have ended up with a lace dress.

    I don’t dislike the dress I wore, but there are so many other dresses out there that I think I would have absolutely loved.  Moral of the story:  stick to your convictions and don’t let others talk you into or out of something you really want.
