You are one strong brave mom! I agree you need to at least get a favorite treat for Mother’s Day! You deserve it. Hugs.

FreckledFox:  Just catching up on the thread, woohoo 22 weeks! I have a question for you, when you’re admitted to the hospital and start the steriods to help his lungs develop do they actually inject the steriods into him, or do they go into you & he gets them from you? Sorry if that’s a dumb question, I just never really thought about it & now I’m wondering how it works.

FreckledFox:  Interesting, I would of thought you’d get more steriod shots than just 2-3, but that’s great that’s all you’ll need! And again, I know zero about all this. Are you nervous to be going to the hospital for so long? I think it’s better to be there than at home, god forbid something goes wrong you’re already there! I hope they have good food & nice nurses for you! πŸ™‚ And I hope you have a private room! Is the hospital far from home, will your husband just stay at home & visit you?

FreckledFox:  I was thinking about your situation this weekend and wondering if you or your Drs think your earlier hematoma had anything to do with causing your PPROM? Also, and this is weird and not something I knew they measured until our anatomy scan, was your cervix length shorter than “average” and would that have caused the PPROM as well? I guess in my head I’m trying to figure out why this happened anatomically and scientifically without really having the background to do so…as I’m sure you’ve been doing too. I’m sorry for the nosey questions fox! Yay for 22 weeks, only one more, OMG! πŸ˜€

FreckledFox:  Huge congrats on 22 weeks! Your whole situation has been incredible and very inspiring to me, no matter what the outome. I really admire you. I know you’ve said you don’t feel strong, but you are. I am so, so hopeful for the very best outcome for your little guy. What a fighter he is! Stay the course, mama!
