actually, yes! i only charted two months before getting pregnant but temps were definitely higher the month I was pregnant. Although, I still had a few little dips that made me think I was out that month. Good luck!! Keep us posted!

I only had 2 higher than normal before I tested(I always tested right at the end of my LP, but in between those 2, I had a low one that usually showed when AF came.

My temps were .2 to .3 higher this month, but no PG.

The only time I went above 98.6 basal temp was when I really had a fever.  The antibiotics could definitely affect it too.  BUT…maybe you’re just pregnant! : )

I’m usually in the 97s during my TWW, this past time I registered a 97.88, which was an all time high, my previous high temp was a 97.5.

As you can see, I run on the low side.

But anyway, to answer your question, last month, I had am implantion dip, a triphasic chart (with temps .2-.3 higher than normal) and I was still not pregnant.  I am still bitter about that one.

It’s definitely something to give you hope, and I would be very hopeful if I were in your position, but you’re right, only time will tell 🙂

I first started charting during the winter and stopped before it got hot. I started charting again this month and my temps are really off. After a few sweltering nights, followed by cool to borderline cold nights, with my winter blanket back on, it really doesn’t make any sense for me to continue charting unless we have a more controlled temperature.

As for higher temps when you’re pregnant, I’ve read that’s true but there’s so many other women that had no symptoms at all – I’m starting to think it’s just all random.

    Good luck to you!

I’ve had higher temps and my acupuncturist swears it is an egg trying to implant but I always get a BFN followed by my period – so I don’t believe it.  High temps leading to a BFP seem to be true for some so I hope that it is for you!  My fingers are crossed for you.  Good luck!

for the months i was charting, i always had higher temps after ovulating. the month i got pregnant, my temps weren’t any higher after ovulating, but they did not drop when i expected them to the day before my period was due. i tested positive that day.
