How did you deal? Did you have a really good “Option B” or did you go with tenting? My venue’s option B is tenting unfortunately 🙁 Did the rain take away from any of the fun? And anything unexpected issues us bride-to-be’s should watch out for if it does rain? Thanks in advance!!! 🙂

It poured on my wedding day. From the minute we woke up, when we left in the limo, when we arrived at the ceremony site. We had plans to have an outdoor ceremony, which we had to move inside, and lose all the money we spent on the chairs. Luckily, our site had an AWESOME staff that set everything up inside in a big hurry.
The hardest parts? Making the decision of a time when we had to just forget the outdoor ceremony. I really didn’t want to bring it inside, and thought the weather might improve. Also, pictures. Luckily it stopped raining long enough at points for us to get some outdoor pictures, but many had to be taken inside, and on a covered porch at my venue. My shoes (ivory) were pretty ruined, and the bottom of my dress was gross. But it all worked out in the end and everyone had a blast.

- Wedding: April 2011 - Sweet ceremony by the sea and sunset celebration on the North Shore of Hawaii
We had rain during dinner and our first dance. We opted for a clear tent and it was just as awesome. 🙂 plus….it’s good luck!

@ostrich: did you have to worry about mud or guests having to walk in anything rainy? or were things really well covered?
