Not sure if this should go in the TTC or pregancy board, but thought I would do TTC since those are the ladies that are obsessing with me about getting preggers. 🙂
If you’ve ever been pregnant – did you have any symptoms during implantation?
According to Fertility Friend I’m at 5 DPO and for days and days I’ve been having the worst crampy ovary pain ever. I never get cramps with period or anything, so this is strange for me. I went for a run yesterday and was in agony! But other than that it’s been pretty constant dull ache for days.
I’ve also been super emotional (cried at work on Friday and Monday, silly me!) and have been really really tired (took a 2 hour nap on Sunday, which I never do).
Did you have any symptoms? I have to wait until this weekend to take a pregnancy test, but meanwhile i just feel weird. It’s my first official cycle TTC so i know the probabilities are low, but seriously, what is with these achy ovaries of mine???

5 DPO is a little early for implantation. It is usually between 7-10 days, maybe 6 and up to 12. IMO you can’t have pregnancy symptoms before it implants and starts producing hcg and around that time you should get a + pregnancy test. Pregnancy symptoms and AF symptoms are pretty much the same.
I did have implantation bleeding and cramping approximately 9 DPO (when it started) and mine lasted 3 days. But there is no way I could have differentiated that cramping from regular period/pms cramping. I actually thought it was my period so there’s that….

Hmmm…. Yeah it’s just strange to me because I don’t get crampy, tired or emotional during my regular period ever. No idea what’s going on with me then, but this constant ovary pain is just weird. Maybe something is wrong with me, if it’s not pregnancy related!!

BiancaBee33: it may be an ovarian cyst, that’s what I had with the same cramping youre describing. They can increase in size and rupture during ovulation. They’re diagnosed via an internal ultrasound so you’d have to go to the doctor. I personally didn’t take anything for it as my doc said it would heal on its own, which it did.

I was positive I was pregnant in the cycle before I conceived because of weird emotions and bloaty feelings, then got a negative. The cycle I did conceive I was positive I wasn’t pregnant because I felt exactly like I do when I get my period. In hindsight, I did feel like 5 minutes of implantation cramping at 8 or 9 DPO, but at the time I didn’t give it much thought.

BiancaBee33: i had a temp dip (likely implantation dip) at 7DPO. the night before, i was freezing and couldn’t get warm in bed (was dressed in layers and had multiple blankets on top of me). on 7DPO i was moody, irritable, tired, kinda dizzy feeling. I definitely felt “off” the day I implanted! On 8DPO I had what can only be described as IBS and at 9 DPO i went to bed at 7 p.m. But before implantation I had no out of the ordinary symptoms.

YES! The week before my BFP I actually started feeling really tired, thirsty and like I was getting a cold. My coworkers even teased me about being pregnant when I was conplaining about some of my “cold symptoms.” We weren’t really TTC just yet so I just laughed it off. Good luck!!!

“it’s a known fact that your body goes crazy when you start to TTC.“
it’s a known fact that your mind goes crazy when you start to TTC.
Fixed that for you. 🙂

BiancaBee33: I had very mild cramping at 12DPO, nothing at all until then.

BiancaBee33: Darling Husband probably thought I was crazy during my last TWW when I found out I was pregnant. I think around 6-7 DPO I had this odd “pressure” feeling right above my pubic bone. I never felt anything like it, and I remember telling my friend “if I’m not pregnant than I’m just going crazy.”
Around 9DPO I noticed light pink CM (only when hecking CP). That day I went to bed and seriously felt like AF was coming. I woke up fully expecting to see her, but nope! Checked CP again, and still some more light pink tinge. I usually spot the day before AF, but 8PDO was way too early for me. I was testing from 8-12 DPO with BFNs. I was convinced I wasn’t pregnant, and that my body hated me and AF was playing a mean trick. I decided to test again on 13DPO expecting another BFN (I took the test and took a shower! I wasn’t even worried about waiting for it, thats how convinced I was that AF was coming). I got out of the shower and boom, BFP!
Long story short, for me what really gave it away looking back was the odd pressure feeling, and spotting from 8-9 DPO (unfortunately ended in a CP…my spotting stopped but then came back).

The month I got BFP I woke up in the middle of the night because of sharp pain. It came so sudden, out of nowhere and instantly went away. I almost forgot about it in the morning, but it came to my mind once I got BFP later on. I never had such an experience before and i’m pretty sure it was due to implantation.

I’m about 7/8 dpo and am getting strange pressure/pain in my right pelvic side but am not going to think too much into it, despite probably testing in a few daya (I’m impatient) We aren’t charting (and I was sick for most of my expected FW) so my ovulation date would only be an estimate based off period due date an cm.
