Sure did, but it was DH’s first time, so we knew it was going to happen no matter if we were tired or not.

We were exhausted, but got a second wind ๐Ÿ™‚ Even the day after we did it after getting home and putting some stuff away. Don’t worry if you don’t. It isn’t a big deal, and plenty of couples don’t do anything the night of.

Oh yeah….it was great…we were up until the sun came up, snoozed a little bit and then it was off to the South Pacific!

Yes we did! We got back to the hotel and relaxed a little, took showers, and I changed into something sexy ๐Ÿ˜‰ I was dead tired, but I kind of forced myself to put the lingerie on and that put me in the right mood.

@Little_Hedgy:  We didnt even get home until 4am, then had people over for another hour or so.  We had been up for 22 hours and we were exhausted, but found time the next morning.

We sure were in the mood! Neither of is thought we would be and we even decided that we wouldn’t have sex so that there was no disappointment. However, we just couldn’t help ourselves after the reception. We were definitely exhausted but seemed to get a second wind once we were alone.

A poll about this would be interesting!

My husband passed out before I even got my dress off. Luckily, we were in the same hotel as our guests so I started calling around until I got ahold of someone to come undo the back for me. It was ok tho bc we already plans to go out to the bars afterwards, so I just went with my friends and parents. I think his brother was able to wake him up and be ended up showing up at the bar, but there was def no sexy time after the bar. We did the special first time as husband and wife thing the next night and it was just as special ๐Ÿ™‚

Edit to Add: more than half of our guests travelled from out of state to attend and we rarely get to spend time with them, so spending as much time with them was priority for us

We left the reception a little before 11pm and when we got back to the hotel, my Darling Husband helped me out of the dress and we had some special husband/wife time. I didn’t even get to change into the fancy lingerie, but it didn’t matter ๐Ÿ™‚

After, we devoured some leftovers that the caterer packed up for us and then passed out in bed.

We were pooped, personally. We did, but not the best event ever. it was kind of a half assed attempt, just so we could say we did, but a wedding is more exhausting than you’d think, to be honest!!

Lol, in both my Marriages WE MADE TIME.

I admit tho that Wedding Days can be lonnnng and tiring (if not all the way to exhausting)

Having a shower a bite to eat, and being to spend some time unwinding with your feet up and just talking about the day may very well give you a second wind.

And if all else fails there is the Honeymoon… lots of sexy couple time on a Honeymoon (lol, that is what they were made for.  Have wonderful romantic memories of my Honeymoon with Mr TTR.  So special, so pampered, so luxe)

Hope this helps,

Absolutely, we just made sure we weren’t falling over wasted… and just a little tipsy.

And honestly, Best.Sex.Ever! We were just filled with so much passion for each other that it was all about love rather then sex. Darling Husband still talks about it. lol

Then we woke up in the morning and tried to use the jacuzzi tub in the room but the jets were broke so we soaked in a bubble bath instead.

I wish i could relive that night.

I didn’t expect us to, even though we eloped! We came home after photos and some food with our photographers. We planned to have a few hours before dinner with some friends so I coudl take it easy and nap if I needed to, plus to have some alone time. I relaxed a little, and then we consumated things! I totally expected to be too exhausted (I have some chronic health issues). I was glad that we did, and it was perfect.

We pretty much both passed out! Our friends had travelled a long way, we hadn’t been able to afford to go see them in years!

On honeymoon we both got a terrible stomach infection and spent everything but the first three days in bed feeling sorry for ourselves. We had a great comraderie though!

We’re going on a little forest break soon that we consider a second honeymoon. No long haul travel or fear of drinking the water this time!

We purposefully didn’t drink TOO much (although I kinda did, oopsies) and left the party before it was super late- but we were still too tired. We did it first thing in the morning and it was awesome! It would’ve been nice to do it on the wedding night,  but we got married in Hawaii so we were extra tired from the travel, time change, sun, swimming, happy hours everyday, etc.
