Thank you for posting this!! I am having major “buyers remorse” right now and my wedding is 5 weeks away. It is just a scarry time to think that all the little things that bug you will be with you FOREVER.

One of my college friends mentioned a girls-only trip  to Cozumel she’s taking next week.  I had instant flashbacks to our Spring Break trips to Jamaica and South Beach and thought “wow, I’ll NEVER do ANY of those EVER again”.  I love vacationing with my husband, but there is a bit of nostalgia remembering those crazy carefree trips from younger, single days;)

You can’t get it wrong and you’ll never get it done.

We haven’t had too many OMG moments, except that he has a weirdly cheesy sense of humor that gets really old (he is a high school chemistry teacher after all).  We still go on vacations without each other, so I haven’t felt like I missed crazy single vacations at all.  In fact, those long weekends away with our respective friends make us cherish our time together even more

I had a moment when our kitchen ceiling was leaking and I was b*tching about it, DH bent down to mop up the puddle and when he stood he cracked his head on the cupboard door which was open (I’m too short to hit my head on those!) He yowled and when I went to touch him he yelled “Don’t touch me!” He was literally like a bear with a sore head. I walked away and I remember saying to the dog, “I married an a**”. It must have really hurt, he actually still has a bump from it (it was months ago). He did apologise later for yelling at me (which he never does) and I apologised for being a spoiled brat and not mopping up the floor myself 🙂 Like someone else said, never regretted for a moment marrying him but that moment was a trial!
