    @IAmTheShadow:  Yes, it was extremely comforting! I am now 31 weeks pregnant, so obviously she was a sticky little bean!

    Just went today and my hcg levels are at 19,000! Hard not to get excited, but trying to hold back just in case. They want me to take another blood test in a few days to verify that they’re increasing as expected, and since my GYN appt isn’t for another 3 weeks.

    ETA: Interestingly enough, the doctor initially questioned why I wanted to have the blood work in the first place. When I explained it and he saw the m/c on file he understood. He’s not a GYN he’s a general practitioner so I guess that’s why he’s not used to the request. And he’s the one who called me with the results and asked me to come back. So I guess he gets it now.
