I was a former yearbook editor in highschool and decided to do my own album from Blurb.com. Prices are decent and I loved the quality of all my previous purchases from them. http://www.blurb.com/pricing
SO…. my hubs says a paper invite stuck on the first page will look tacky. I have this layout so far. We do want the invite on the first page. We are going for a very clean, modern album.
What do you think?
Thanks for the help…

Can you have it inlaid in the cover? Like in a window or something like that?

Our photographer will take a photo of our complete invitation suite. We’ll include the photo in our wedding album. Maybe you can make a scrapbook and include stuff from the wedding including your invitation in it?

I’m into scrapbooking, so yes I will be including a paper invitation in ours 🙂 In your case, if your hubby doesn’t want a paper invite, the next best thing woulc be scanning or a photograph of it.

i included a photo of our invitation. Our photographer took a photo if the invite set as part of the detail shots. It looked so pretty so I included it.
For the album layout, on the first page I put a set of pirtraits that have an impact, instead of just starting according to the timeline. I thought it would be more effective in telling a story this way.

Ive made a scrapbook or two for couples so I asked for an invite to include and I always ask to have one on hand the day of so I can photograph it. I also ask for STD or and other invites that had to do with the wedding.
