It took me some time to love my ring. We had been discussing him buying a ring for about 6 months before the proposal so I had a lot of time to swoon over beautiful rings online. When the ring wasn’t exactly what I had pictured in my head, it took some time to adjust. I immediately went home and deleted all of the pictures of other rings from my computer and haven’t looked back. Now that I’m not looking at anything else, I love my ring. It’s perfect for me.

I didn’t help pick the ring, never told him what I liked, never discussed it in the slightest and I loved it from the moment I saw at! And this is always something I was worried about was if I’d like the ring my FH chose. But my fiancé did good and snooped at my Pinterest page for ideas (which he never looks at).

Yes, he let me pick it. He told me all he cared about, that I love my ring.
I knew that I wanted a colored stone and also like radiant cut.
So, when we found my ring I knew it was the one. 🙂

I’ve always loved mine but I helped Fiance pick it out 🙂

Mine is a second-hand ring. Altough my fiance worked very hard and put away enough $$ to get me a ring, when his cousin offered to sell us her ring and wedding band (from a broken-off engagement a few years ago) for an awesome price, we decided to go that route and save the extra money for the future. I’m not superstitious at all. A ring is a ring. And it was a nicer ring than we would have been able to afford.
After I initially agreed to it, I did have second thoughts. We had only done one brief bout of ring shopping just after he proposed, and I had been looking forward to more shopping and the “Ah-Ha!” moment of finding the right ring. When he sent me the pics, although I loved the adorable heart details in the setting, I saw the style is somewhat similar to what my sisters have. I wanted something more unique to me.
I told him what I was feeling, and he asked me to go look at it, and if I really didn’t want it we’d go shopping. Once I saw it in person, though, that was it. Couldn’t stop smiling. Now I love it!
