    Yes

    Sometimes

    No

I didn't before, but I notice them now that I'm planning my own wedding.

For the life of me, I don’t remember the chairs at any of the 15 weddings I’ve been to since 2009.

Never. I only notice if they are uncomfortable but never the look of them.

I notice if they have chair covers because I don’t like that look.  Other than that, no.

Never. Renting chairs was never something I was willing to spend money on for that very reason.

Yes. I also notice table legs poking out from under table cloths. That being said, I have a pretty short memory, so while I may notice things like that on the day of, it’s definitely not my memory of the wedding for the long term 🙂

I voted yes, but I haven’t been to a wedding in ages, I’m just the person who always notices/thinks about the chairs that I’m sitting in, mainly whether they’re comfortable. I think since they’re in good condition and there’s some padding involved, you should be fine.

im being completely honest… ive always noticed chairs. always. even as a kid. im nuts.

that being said, i wouldn’t shell out $ for chivaris. they’re just too expensive. i’d just suck it up and live with it. and i agree that chair covers would probably look silly.

I noticed chairs.  So I just felt from the beginning that I’d want chair covers.  The chairs are white plastic folding chairs.  But then I started pricing everything and since we’re paying for our own wedding, chair covers was one of the first thing to go.  Our chairs have handles on the back of each.  Since they are white, I’m going to just tie cute tissue paper pompoms, alternating our colors, to the back of each chair.  It will add color and interest to the room, but won’t cost me $564.

I hadn’t been to many weddings before my own (maybe five, max), but honestly, the chairs were one thing I always noticed — because I never liked them.

I did not know what Chivari chairs were, and I don’t think I’d ever seen them until I started planning, but I know that I’ve always associated weddings with ugly chairs (or chair covers), and I didn’t want to associate them with my own wedding.

I never noticed them before but now I do.  But it sure wouldn’t make or break my evening if I didn’t sit on a chair cover!

I’ll be honest, I’m very observational ad detail oriented so I admit that I would notice the chairs. But it was more of in a, if the chairs were really ugly or didn’t match it stood out to me. Like if they had chair covers I would just note how put together the room looked. Like I won’t remember what flowers in specific were used, but I’ll remember whether I thought the color scheme looked good together.
