I am. I thought about doing a round cake and icing it to look like the xbox symbol, because my Fiance is all about his xbox. I also saw this castle bundt pan in walmart the other day and I thought it was really cute for a more witty concept (FI thinks he’s a dragonborn so it makes me think of him…). Idk just a thought.

FI’s will be a desk with an assortment of Mac products– Mac Air, iPod, iPad, iPhone– sitting on it… he’s a really huge Apple fan.  Like I seriously thanked God that Steve Jobs died on October 5th instead of the 6th because we probably would have had to change our date.. LoL.

Haha, yes, but it was just a chocolate cake. Mine was a white cake, so his was a chocolate sheet cake. And more delicious than mine. Had roses and our initial on it.

Yes we will be having one, not sure on theme. Probably either poker themed or sports themed.

Mine wanted a stacked cheesecake.  We compromised and I got a 3 tiered stand.  A friend draped it in red cloth and did a movie theme with Oscars and such.  It was cute.

We are having a groomscake & wedding cake, because my fiance’s only two requirements for the entire wedding are:

1) I am there and

2) He gets chocolate cake with chocolate icing.  🙂

My girly cake:

His crazy cake:

Yes my Fiance is ALL ABOUT HIS XBOX 360 but I cant complain because I bought it for him for his b-day a few yrs back so its going to be that BUT to throw him a little surprise, inside its going to be a blue velvet cake. Fiance jokingly asked one night we were looking at wedding cake flavors if they had any blue velvet cake instead of red velvet (his fave color is blue) and I actually discovered that yes, there is a such thing as blue velvet cake. So hes going to get that.

We didn’t really have a groom’s cake…because the whole wedding cake was really my groom’s!!  He picked it out himself (I really don’t think I was a fan, but oh well!!!).  He cares way more about the cake than I ever did!

I’d like to but we really hate fondant and how it tastes…. so I’m going to have to see from my baker if there’s a way that she can make a New York Yankees-themed cake with buttercream. I haven’t asked yet! I don’t want it to be too big though and I will most probably have it at the rehearsal dinner!

@sarahcool:  LOVE your cake!

DH’s cake was in the shape of Italy, with little flags of the cities he’s visited.  It was actually way more popular than my cake…chocolate with cappuchino buttercream, nom!

If we were able to have one, I wanted to have a red velvet armadiillo in honor of my favorite movie, “Steel Magnolias”.
