I donated mine. The chances of any daughter of mine wearing it in the future are slim and none. I am also not the type of person who would ever preserve and display it ( it would be a blight on our minimalist decor), and I’m not going to devote closet space to something I will never wear again.

I repurposed mine into a cocktail dress to wear on anniversaries.

I’ll definitely try to sell mine! It’s a Hayley Paige gown so hopefully there’s another bride who can rock it on her wedding day.

I originally was going to sell mine as it’s a Berta and I know I could get something for it but it’s hanging in my room and right now I’m not ready to part with its sparkly prettiness. I kept part of the hem fabric to make throw pillows with, too.

I bought mine consignment and donated it after our wedding in hopes it will make another bride happy as well.

I held on to mine as we hoped to have a reception in my home country last summer, 6 months after the wedding, so I was going to wear it for that. But my hubby didn’t get a visa. Whenever we do get to go I’m sure it’ll be too late for a reception/anything warranting me wearing it again but I don’t know what to do with it so it’s still in the wardrobe!

I still have my dress but its just in a dustbag under a guest bed, not really doing anyone any good :/ I’ve thought about donating it but dont know if I’ll regret it? Sorry for not really being any help, I’m conflicted about this also xx

I’m thinking about selling mine after the wedding, but only if I can get a decent price, otherwise will shorten it to be a cocktail dress to wear for anniversaries and occasions!

I have mine in a bag in a closet. I still have to get it cleaned. Have no idea what to do with it and honestly just kind of forget it exists until I see posts like this.

I kept my wedding gown. I had it preserved and it’s in a box. I know the chances of anyone else wearing my gown are slim but I am not ready to part with it. I got a Christening gown made from my veil, that our bundle of joy will wear when they are christened

I have a tragic story about this.  My ex husband threw away my wedding dress.  He asked me “is there anything you want from the house?”.  I said no I think I have everything. So he threw away my wedding dress.  WTAF!?!  I forgot it was there.  Even a man should know I didn’t want to throw away my dress.  We have a daughter first of all.  She might at least have wanted to see it someday.  It could have been donated or I would have kept it for posterity. He’s done so much to hurt me (including walking out on our marriage the week I had our 3rd baby). Icing on the cake.  That was 10 years ago but it still just blows my mind the stupidity.

My second wedding I still have my dress. It’s at my moms.

I’m keeping mine, but I’m having my ballgown altered to a tea length dress.
