Becuase we wanted them to know that we wanted them at the rehersal dinner, and as a way to tell them when and where. We just included them with our wedding invites as a seperate enclosure card.

Not sure how we will handle RSVPs for that, maybe just estimate and if we end up with extra food have it the next day as we are getting ready? ( we are doing finger foods and sandwiches).

My Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law hosted and they sent out invites.  It was the easiest way to get all the when and where information to everyone.  And she needed RSVPs.  But we had more than just the wedding party there, we had almost 50 people at the Rehearsal Dinner.  If it was strictly wedding party we probably wouldn’t have sent invites.

Everyone invited to the wedding was invited to the Rehearsal Dinner (destination wedding) so the Rehearsal Dinner was just listed on the “Wedding Weekend Schedule of Events” and as an attendance option on the RSVP card.

We didn’t! I sent out itineraries for the weekend (rehearsal, day of timing, etc.) and I included the rehearsal dinner on there. Ours only included people who would be at the rehearsal anyway (wedding party and SOs, officiant, immediate family).

Nope. Ours was strictly parents and wedding party.

Yes, because I wanted an excuse to use one of our engagement photos. LOL

I will send out a simple invite for the Rehearsal Dinner. I love paper stuff!

Our “rehearsal dinner” was just pizza and salad after we ran through our ceremony the day before the wedding. So basically we just ran through everything and then said, “Anybody who can stay is welcome to food upstairs”

    lol, beautiful invitation huh?

I was thinking about this too.  My Mother-In-Law will be hosting it, and I had mentioned to her about invitations, but I’m not sure if that is something she will do.  It is mainly immediate fam, Out of Town fam and the bridal party.  I guess we will see when the time comes, but I don’t want to push invitations on my Mother-In-Law.
