If you are buying the dresses and paying for the hair….I’m sure your ladies won’t mind paying for their makeup & it’s up to them if they want a trial first.

Just give them plenty of notice…They might get a discount if they all get it done by the same artist 🙂

No I didn’t.. but only because all of my girls (-) one picked to done their own hair and make up. My two older sisters jobs are hair and make up. My older sister(Mary) did my niece’s hair and make up. My little sister wanted to go to the shop..so she did. All I asked was sliver/blue make up and to please have buns some type of way..

I’m going to pay for the hair, and makeup will be an optional extra. If they want to do their own makeup, that’s fine, but I most likely won’t pay for it to be done professionally or (depending on prices), I’ll put in, say, $20-30 each for makeup and they can cover the rest. We’ll figure out whatever’s fair

Unless you’re requiring the girls to get their hair and makeup professionally done, I don’t think that it’s your responsibility to pay for it.  I have never been in a wedding where someone paid for my hair and makeup, and I didn’t pay for my girls, either.  If you are requesting that they have their hair and makeup done though, then I think it’s more your responsibility, IMO.

Just makeup! I told the ladies they could do hair, shoes, makeup, and nails however they want. I ended up having my sisters friend do our makeup for free.

I am paying for hair only.  I wanted them to have updos, and since they are doing it for that reason only, I figured it was only fair for me to pay.  I gave them the option of doing their makeup (which they all opted to do), but it was fine with me if they did they makeup themselves, too.

I gave my girls the option to have their hair and makeup done, but I’m not requiring it. I have someone coming to do mine so since I will have someone there already I gave them the choice. They did all opt to have both done and I am splitting the cost with them 50/50. I am also letting them choose their own hairstyles.

If they choose to have manis/pedis, they are on their own, I’m not helping with that. I didn’t vote because their wasn’t an option that fit

I’m not, but I did buy their dresses and shoes. And they can get hair and makeup basically free using resort credit.

I’m doing hair and makeup with no trials. Maid/Matron of Honor and I are literally at polar opposite ends of the country, so we’re both flying in for my wedding like 2 days before. I’m also paying for her nails.

I am paying for hair and makeup, but not their dresses (normal for them to pay here). I feel like hair and makeup are optional, and it will be a fun thing to go have it done together. I am also paying for hair & makeup for the moms.

I paid for hair and make-up to be done in the suite where we got ready.  It was AWESOME having a few cocktails, talking, and just hanging out during that time.  One of the highlights of my weekend.

I didn’t pay for their nails, but I told them they could do (or not do) their nails however they wanted.  Same with jewelry.  I bought their shoes and paid for part of their dresses as well.

I hope to pay for everything for my BMs, I will try to include it in my budget. Not sure about trials though!
