Call for sure. Its possible they have but forgot to call or left a message that never got through. I would not recomend paying before it came in but I dont think you should start to panic until you hear whats going on from the shop.

I paid in full the day I ordered mine.

It couldn’t hurt to call the shop and get a status on your order.  You’ve just passed the 16 week mark but if it makes you feel better. . .

We paid for my dress in full, and it took about five months to arrive. As long as you have your receipt, you can prove your purchase and your right to what your ordered.

I had to pay 50% of my dress total to get it ordered and once the dress came in and a I tried it on I then paid the remaining balance. My dress took a little over 5 months to come in. I would definitely call and ask for an update.

I had to pay 50% of my total as a deposit and then paid for the rest after it came in (I think I had 30 days from when it came in to pay for the rest).

I had to pay 60% at time of purchase…and I owe the rest 2 weeks after the dress comes in.

We had to pay half to order and half when it came in before I had it altered.  Same for the bridesmaid’s dress.

My salon requires you to pay in full for the dress when you order it. I didn’t have any issues doing so.

I went ahead and paid mine in full when I ordered, because I had the cash. If you bought with a reputable retailer, I’m sure it’s just been delayed temporarily. You can always call and follow up–that’s what I did when I ordered from Jay’s, and it turned out that heavy snowstorms were keeping it from being delivered. There’s usually a good explanation.
