I used to poke and push Addie out of the way when she jabbed me in the ribs or something.  My husband was like, “Stop pushing on our baby,” but she started it!  Lol, it’s neat that you’re already bonding with your little one.  ๐Ÿ™‚

@troubled: I did, sorta.  It was fun with both my kids.  Besides, if they’re gonna be using my bladder as a punching ball, I can at least poke ’em back when they’re poking me! LOL!

I do. Usually I’ll just put my hand on it when I feel him move but recently he’s started pushing on my right side and kicking me in the ribs…so I push him back. He was doing it yesterday while we were in the grocery store and I told my husband to tell his son to stop acting up in public. ๐Ÿ™‚

Absolutely.  In the evenings when I noticed the most movement was in a warm bath.  Then I’d call Darling Husband in to see the movements and we’d play a little.  In the third tri is when I started having to really push to get his feet out of my ribcage – talk about uncomfortable!

I used to always hold/touch my belly while pregnant, often it was a subconscious reaction.

All the time,  She’ll be sleeping and I will want to feel her kick, so ill poke at her and shake my belly until I get a kick or something lol.  Darling Husband as well, Ill feel her kicking, grab his hand and put it where she is, and ill poke around it to make her react.  I constantly have my hadn on my belly though, its subconscious.

Baby and I are currently having a battle of wills. Unfortunately I’m much more likely to give up before she is. She likes to push all along my right side, including my ribs, and I like to push her back to the center of my belly. It’s pretty amusing and I think it’s probably more fun to mess around with her now than it will be for the first couple weeks of her life. As much as it can bother me I’m sure I’ll miss it when she’s an outside baby.

I love to play with her ๐Ÿ™‚

Sometimes it’s rubbing her back a bit to get her feet out of my ribs and othertimes it’s more playful fun!
