So…..someone told me they heard alot of couples are NOT getting married in 2013 because they think it is unlucky so they will wait until 2014. Anyone else heard this?? Are you waiting?

@Barika: I think that’s crazy haha We’re not superstitous at all. We’re getting married July 13, 2013. Double 13!

Im getting married next year on the “unluckiest day”. Lol Friday 13th. I Don’t think people should postpone the wedding for Superstitions. 🙂

Haha, no! after 8 year of being together it’s time for us to get married 🙂

My Fiance was happy to avoid the date. If I would have pushed it he would have agreed but I’m really happy with our 2014 date, and so is he. He is kind of a number guy so I let him decide.

I hate uneven numbers with a passion and even more so the number 13 (I’m a little OCD about numbers). But we are still getting married. Would be silly to put it off, but I sure do like that number 2014 better! 🙂

Is this a joke? I consider 13 to be a lucky number.

I’m not superstitious about anything, except when it comes to my relationship:) My SO thinks I’m crazy, but I specifically didn’t want to get married in 2013. Maybe many other couples feel the same way which is why everything where I live is booked up for 2014, so we’ve had to push our date back to 2015. Sigh.

Already married but I would not postpone my wedding because of that….

No, I wouldn’t postpone my wedding since I don’t believe in luck at all. We are getting married September 13, 2013! Which is a Friday, natch.

No way, I think 13 is a lucky number!

In some cultures, 13 is a lucky number 🙂

I got married two days ago — and this is the first I’m hearing that 2013 is unlucky. Honestly, that stuff is foolish, IMO.
