I really think I have great hand writing. LOL Seriously…but my cursive Rs SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKK! Like really look a mess. I master my signature for my maiden name and now just like that my signature is a HOT MESS. My last name has TWO Rs in it and I have the worse cursive Rs.
ughhhhh I should have practiced! LOL

I’ve been doodling “Tracey HisLastName” since we got engaged! I can’t wait to be able to use my now-perfected signature as a Mrs!!

There are two letters, K and H, that I HATE writing in capital cursive. And of course my new name is one of those. So I have practiced some, but I will still really have to get used to it.

I think I may need to go back to the basics and get a pad with cursive Rs! lol

When I married my ex husband, it looked like a fourth grader signed the marriage license, because I had to sign my married name for the first time. I would say I should have practiced, but it doesn’t matter now. 😉
If I get remarried, I will practice, for the sake of the license not looking like I should have used a crayon.

Oh, yes! Haha. I definitely practiced this while we were engaged, and I kept trying to decide between my new signature being in the form of Jane Elizabeth Doe or Jane Smith Doe, or even Jane Elizabeth Smith Doe. I should have practiced more, however, because, once I was married and legally changed my name to the format of Jane Smith Doe, I found that I had a hard time writing my new last name. It took several months for me to really feel comfortable with it. Now that I’m approaching my third anniversary, however, I’m very used to writing it! 🙂

I am still practicing my signature my new last name is going to be Harris and I don’t exactly know how to write a pretty H. I will get it though!!!!

Yes! And I’m struggling. It just doesn’t look fluid at all. I might take FH’s advice and just do a D with a squiggly line.

I had to practice my last name! I went from 5 letters to 11 letters of Dutch!

Yes! I sure did… In fact, I started practicing very early on…
We started getting to know each other in the end of May 2010… We started dating in August… I started practicing my signature (Firstname DHlastname) on September 17… I know the date because it was my 21st birthday. I was in a grad school night class. I was SO bored and wished I was celebrating my birthday with him, instead of in class. I walked out of class and there was my Boyfriend or Best Friend (DH now) all dressed up, waiting to take me out to dinner and he had flowers… It was such a nice surprise! But I was particularly caught off guard because I had just been practicing my name with his haha… A year later we were married 🙂

I didn’t practice it and you can definitely tell. 3 weeks into marriage & it still looks horrible.
