Nope we didn’t put ours on layaway.  I hope you can get it paid off soon!

Mine was $850 for one ring eep!  My dad paid though.  But my husband’s was around $150 I think and his parents paid for it.

we didn’t, we just had simple plain gold bands so it wasn’t crazy expensive.

good luck!

We are paying for ours outright.  Our motto is, if we can’t pay cash for it, we don’t need it.  Same goes for our honeymoon and he did the same thing for my e-ring.

We got ours at a sample sale, so we paid upfront!

He paid for both of my rings in full…we opted for a smaller CTW to do so (1 ct, total).  Sure, we could have financed something bigger but we have enough expenses as it is!  I have not yet bought his ring, but I hope to keep it under $250.

No, we paid for them out-of-pocket. His was ~$400 and mine was ~$1100. We got to pay for mine in 2 parts because it was being custom made and they needed a deposit.

We talked to the jeweler about exactly what kind of rings we want and since I am having my custom made it will take a little while. So we basically started the process but are not putting a rush on the jeweler so we can save the money while they are being made. He is a family friend and since my Fiance paid cash I don’t think he is too worried about making the rings even if we don’t give him anything up front.

Layaway is great! We did that for my setting bc it was a single style made so we put a deposit down and paid if off over a few months. We couldn’ve done it for more months but I made sure Fiance knew how excited I was for it so we really scrimped for a month or two. Worth it! I hope it was for him to! We’ll probably do our bands on layaway too if we see them at an antique store or a small jeweler. We’ve never had to pay more for it and seems to make it easier to save money when you know what your saving for, a specific ring I mean.
