I started my wedding blog as a way to share my thoughts and ideas with my closest friends and family. Mostly because none of my bridesmaids or family live in the same state as me. That being said it is totally up to but I love getting there support and feedback!

I didn’t have a “wedding blog”, but I wouldn’t have shared it with my friends and family for two reasons.  One, I didn’t want them to know tons of details about the wedding. I liked the idea of it being a surprise and not knowing everything. Two, I didn’t want all of their input.  I’m not sure if you’re dealing with it yet, or if you will, but I had tons of people who thought they deserved to plan my wedding for me.  They thought their ideas were the right way, and if I didn’t go with their ideas, they were offended.  Because of this, I only told few people things, and told most people the least amount I could. This helped keeping people from trying to plan our wedding.

@Miss_Pura Vida: Didn’t think about this idea.  I would say it’s a good idea to share with CLOSE friends and family. People who you would share the ideas and thoughts with either way (example: mom, bridesmaids, grandparents, etc.)

I shared mine mostly because I have family in different parts of the world. I’m not putting up the major stuff so there will be some surprises.
