I’m pretty open to how I look on my wedding day – I just want to be pretty! LOL.
Fiance doesn’t want a TON of make up, so I want something more natural looking, but I haven’t seen anything that I HAVE to do.
Am I just ok telling her what I want?

i think that as long as you have a trial run, you’ll be ok w/ no picture.
I emailed my MUA/hairstylist my inspiration photos, then when i got there, forgot them. She did just fine with my explanation and pretended to remember my emailed photos.

I AM having a trial, so I probably will be good. My MUA has great reviews too, so I’m sure if I explain what I’m looking for she’ll be able to pull it off.

They need to see pictures. Because what you have in mind may not be the same as what they do if you are going by description only, in which case, they are not to blame if they don’t get your vision right.

a photo would definitely help, but if you tell her you prefer a natural look, she should follow up asking a few questions and ask you if you are comfortable with what she had planned. And if you’re unsure, tell HER to show you an example! She or he should have those in handy, too!

I’m showing her a picture, since she (MUA) had suggested it too. I will be having a trial but I think it helps for her to know what kind of look I am going for.
