Ha!  My whole wedding won’t break over 10k (hopefully) so my dress was no where near that.

BUT, if I had the means and LOVED an expensive dress, I’d totally do it.

nope, 3000$. sometimes it makes me feel a bit nauseous to think about the money, but mostly I feel happy because I know it is MY DRESS!

nope mine with alterations and accessories will hit just over $3000, and yes i cringe when i think of the price tag, but when i put it all on, i look and feel like a million bucks so yeah totally worth it 🙂

I am not married yet, but I did spend over what I originally budgeted; but not over $5,000.00. If I had the means though, and I had tried on gowns that were in that price range and fallen in love with one, I am sure I would not regret it. When I went in, the pictures that I showed the sales girls were all over $5,000.00. I have very expensive tastes, but they were still able to find me a gown that I love.

My dress budget isn’t “firm”, but I’m hoping to spend less then $500 (yep, five hundred) before alterations.

I’m so um “thrifty” that would make my stomach turn. My dress was $250 and I feel fab in it.

No, but I spent a little over 2k, and while I know that’s an insane amount, I don’t regret it one bit.

If we had the money, I would have considered looking at dresses in a higher price range. It was not in the budget, though.

Under $500 for each of our dresses here.  The entire wedding was under $10,000.

wow. I think its balling to spend $1,500. Thats what I currently plan to budgeting for my dress/alterations for next years ceromony.  If I can get that ‘it’ dress for less, even better!

My dress & veil were $1200! I think I would just cry all night at my wedding if I knew I spent $5K on a dress. But if you have it to spend and the dress makes you feel absolutely fabulous, I say go for it!

Yes and by more than I would like to admit to. I am not married yet, but I don’t regret it. The dress wasn’t my dream dress, I didn’t have one, but when I put it on I knew and I know I will feel amazing on our special day.

Ummm, yes. Haven’t had alterations yet but the cost so far is $6600. It is a vera wang and I have wanted one all my life and have been saving for years and I love it!

We budgeted $2k and I felt sick every time I tried on anything over $1500.  It came down to a $1200 dress I LOOOOVED and a $600 dress I liked a whole lot.  I went with the cheaper one and LOOOOVE all the stuff I can buy with the $600 I saved=)  I don’t believe in “the one” for dresses.
