It’s kind of late at night for the US bees, so you’ll probably see more replies tomorrow.  I took a babymoon to Jamaice at weeks 18-19.  It was very nice πŸ™‚

We stayed in an all inclusive resort and it was around $2300 for 10 days (including plane tickets).  My husband got to do plenty of drinking and there were lots of things I could do too.  We swam with dolphins, went river tubing (they also have a relaxing dry raft ride if you prefer), went on a ride up a mountain and lots of other stuff.

If I was going to pick somewhere to go again I am not sure it would be my first choice.  I might have picked to do a lot of different things closer to home (in split trips). Or gone to Jamaica for like 5 days and then did something else later.

We plan to go somewhere for a week in the second trimester! πŸ™‚ Possibly Spain or Portugal for some sun and relaxation before the baby. (I’m in the UK).

We will go at Christmas when I’m a huge fat balloon at 7 months! LOL.  This will also be our honeymoon, as we only managed one night away a week after the wedding, on the promise that we will go for an amazing break at Chrsitmas, but someone got pregnant, so Thailand is out of the question.  (I have a heart condition, so I don’t want to put the extra pressure of flying on my poor ticker).

Darling Husband said I can choose wherever I want in Greece or Italy, as long as there is a great hospital.  So I am busy looking! Yey!!!

I would sure love to, but I don’t know if it’s feasible.  We are getting married Saturday, and had to cancel our honeymoon (due to some house stuff that had to be done, the rising wedding cost, and the baby!)…..soooo….I don’t know.  I’d love love love to though.  I’m thinking Florida.

I did! I went on a Caribbean cruise at 24 weeks. Now at 35 weeks I could really use another baby moon! I think this should be mandatory and done at least once a trimester πŸ˜‰

Well we’re taking a trip to Chicago next week, so I guess I’ll consider that our babymoon! I’ll be about 23 weeks and I’m really looking forward to getting away for a bit and seeing some new sites.

I wish we did, but unfortunately we were unable to. We have been trying to save as much money as possible and Darling Husband is booked every weekend during the summer so it made it hard to find the time.

It’s a requirement for me before we had a baby!  We’re going to Europe somewhere for 9-10 days.  Thinking Paris, Italy, or Sweden right now.  Granted, my 8 year old will be with and now my parents want to go, but still…  πŸ™‚

We’re going to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. I’ve never been and have always wanted to go. I’m so excited. I didn’t think we could swing the expense, but I used my air miles for our plane tickets and we’re using my MIL’s Marriott timeshare for our lodging so we got really lucky! I’ll be 22w when we go over Labor Day weekend. Initially, we were planning on going over Columbus Day weekend (Oct 6) and celebrate our 2-year anniversary and my 31st bday, but I didn’t want to be too big when we travelled. Hopefully AZ isn’t too hot!

this weekend we are going to stay in a cottage by the lake for 3 nights, then also do a couple of days of camping.  in the middle of those two things we are driving up to visit DHs parents.  but i definitely will consider the cottage stay our mini (and only) baby moon.   I would have loved to have done a week at an all inclusive in the Caribbeaan, but we could not afford it at this time.

@funkymunky85:  Ours won’t be an actual babymoon, more like a “before I get pregnant and will be too sick/tired/grumpy to enjoy a trip moon.”  Basically a TTC-moon. lol  We have a week booked at a condo in St. Thomas w/ a day tacked on at the beginning & end of the trip in Puerto Rico.  It’s not until next June and I am so ready!!!!  We literally had our condo booked with over a year in advance. lol
