I’d have no issues doing it myself, Fiance wants a travel agent but isn’t adamant. We won a little gift basket with a gift certificate in it to a travel agency at a bridal show, and we had talked to the lady there. She seemed nice so I reached out to her to see more about what working with a travel agent is like. We haven’t made any decision either way though.

We did. She gave us personal recommedations for every city we went to. She is also my mom so I know she’s the best 🙂

dkdm226: I haven’t yet used one, but will be looking into it for our honeymoon. We are doing a multicity Europe trip and a week in the caribbean so that is just a lot to book on our own.
For your trip, I don’t think you need a travel agent, because it is pretty simple and you can find a great price on Travelocity. If you wanted to island hop though, I might look into one.
