Shoot, I bought my pre-lit Christmas tree the first year I was out of my parents’s house and on my own! I’ve had the tree longer than I’ve known my FI!

We are big on Christmas and have always had a real tree since moving in together. Our current place has vaulted ceilings so I opt for a 9-10 foot tree which is amazing.

Fiance and I have a small (maybe 2ft tall?) fake tree with fiber optic lights in the needles. Very nerdy and cute, if I do say so myself. It works for us, we can put it up away from our cats and decorate it with some ornaments. We’re not having kids, so it’s all for us.

Heck no!! Fiance and I get a tree every year!! We love decorating it and we even wrap our gifts for each other and put them under the tree.

We are such dorks.

This is our first Christmas with a kitty though so I’m unsure if we are going to get one…

@regberadaisy: Aw those sound nice! I’m not really sure what to get DH this year… maybe one of FL since it’s most likely our last year in this state (fingers crossed for grad school acceptances!)

Oh nooo, definitely not.  We bought a Christmas tree the first Christmas we were together.  (We weren’t living together, but I was spending weekend at his place).  And it was nice putting up the tree and stuff together.

I’m not pregnant or expecting to get pregnant anytime soon. Once me and my Fiance get our own place we are buying a christmas tree! I’m not waiting for a baby. I love the holidays and I love decorating the tree! It’s my favorite part of the holidays! Every year we buy several ornaments a year (several meaning like 20…okay so I go a little crazy!!!) so that when we get our own tree it’ll be completely full. Whenever we travel somewhere we pick up ornaments too so that we can remember our vacations and times traveled.

We’re Jewish, so no tree for us anyway. But I’m actually finding myself not wanting to do holiday decorations as much as normal now that a baby is here. Normally I go all out decorating but I’m just so tired now, and it’s just a lot harder to get things done. Plus, I feel like she doesn’t have a clue anyway. I figure when she gets a little older, starts understanding, and starts participating and helping me, I’ll start decorating again.

Ummm no way!

I’ve had a tree every year of my life.  Single, married, children, no children.  Doesn’t matter.

I always have a tree no matter what. Even as a teenager I had a small real tree in my bedroom lol.

We bought our first Christmas tree last year, after we got married. We actually used some of our wedding gift cards to purchase it.

I was just thinking of this.  We have never gotten a tree, except for a scraggly one off of our family property.  We have never gotten a proper tree and only have… one ornament.  I think that if we have children we will step up the Christmas tree.  I think I might try to step it up this year…

I can’t imagine not having a tree!  I’m hoping we can pick up a fake one on sale after Christmas since this is our first Christmas together in our new house and all we’ve got is a little wee 3 footer that I used to put up in my bedroom when I was younger. 🙂

@regberadaisy: I am incredibly in love with the Christmas/holiday season, so there is no way I was waiting for a tree. Got it just two or three weeks ago, and it is lovely. Might decorate this weekend if Mr. Polar Bear is feeling up to it. I’m glad you got yours!!!
