Bridal party walked to Clair de Lune and had dj fade that out because it was way too long to play entire thing.

I walked to “I’ll back you up” by the Dave Matthews Band.

housebee:  OMG, I LOVE Fry’s holophoner symphony! It makes me cry, every time! I know all the words to and sing along with the Devil’s Hands are Idle Playthings, but my favorite bit is actually from when he was first writing it. When he was sitting on the balcony . . . And then the very end, when he had his “stupid” hands back.

For our wedding, everyone entered to Sara Barielles – I Choose You and I walked in to Meiko – Stuck on You. I have found myself wondering if it’d have been better to walk in to I Choose You, but I’m really glad so much of the song could be heard, and Stuck on You makes me happy!

SunshineSmiles:  Im pretty sure I will not find too many people walking to my song. The party and I will all walk to it since I want the whole song to play and we have a small party. It is Look At You Girl by Chris Ledoux.

Yes, my bridal part, parents, and grandparents all walked down to one song, then the music changed to Canon in D when I walked down the aisle.

In the UK the bride and her father traditionally walk down first, so I came in first and my bridesmaids followed. We all walked in to Handel’s Hornpipe in D.

hyzenthlay:  The part we used is when he’s first writing it and Leela sees the faint trickle of light coming from beneath the door (we’re huge futurama fans)!  Here’s a link to the version we used http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-9CgRmFqIE

I am walking down to a different song, but it’s totally up to you! You can do whatever makes you happy.

housebee:  Yup, that’s my favorite bit 🙂 in fact, as I replied to your comment last night I turned on that episode of Futurama (I refuse to delete it from my TiVo . . . There are just days when you need to see it). The link you posted is beautiful 🙂 I am definitely going to download it – thank you so much for sharing it 🙂

We’re walking down the aisle to Guns N’ Roses – Sweet Child O Mine, and I’m going to time it so me and Dad come in at the big guitar solo

Yes , the music changed for me. Was not going to until my DJ convinced me otherwise. Everyone else walked in to “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Cailat….including groom, parents, etc.  the music changed to “The One” by Kodaline for my walk.

My dj told me I needed my moment and to set the tone. And from his experience its worked better with a change of music.

My wedding is in 2 weeks, October 15th. I’ve been having some trouble with choosing wedding music. I’ve read a lot of sites that say I need a “processional” song and a “recessional” song. One for wedding party and the nex for me. I also think having the DJ to switch songs is a little weird during the ceremony. I’m thinking I want “Makin Plans” by Miranda Lambert as wedding song..so basically having them walk down and me also. The song is pretty long and contains lots of intrustmentals .. What is everyone’s option on this?

My wedding is 2 weeks away, October 15th. I’m having some issues with choosing the music. I know most people do Processionals and Recessionals but I personally don’t want a super long ceremony so I’m thinking of doing 1 song to walk down too, including the wedding party and myself. and another song to exit. I’m thinking I want the song to be “makin plans” by miranda lambert. It’s a pretty long song and it has lots of instrumentals. What is everyones option of this?…
