A while back, I asked for images of everyone’s flats, but I guess it’s possible for some heeled shoes to be comfy (and I’ve had my share of painful flats).
So did anyone wear a comfrotable shoe? And I mean actually comfortable. Sole wasn’t too hard or too flate, they weren’t to tight, they didn’t cut into your heel, they didn’t hurt your feet or back after wearing them for hours.
The only comfy shoes that might do that are those ones from the comfort companies, but they never look very elegant.

I refuse to wear uncomfortable shoes; all my heels are comfortable, but they look elegant, too; the two don’t have to be mutually exclusive.
I wore a pair of low-heeled peep-toe Jimmy Choo’s for the day, and a higher heeled pair of strappy Gina sandals in the evening, changing back into the JCs around midnight when I changed dresses.
I only have one pair of shoes that aren’t massively comfy, but that’s because they’re very narrow/pointed. Can still wear them for ages though.

i wore ivory lace toms. SO COMFY!

I’ll be wearing a shimmery version of my favorite sandals. I live in my Jacks from March through September so they just made sense! It never crossed my mind to force myself to wear heels that will eventually be painful after a few hours (even my “comfy heels” hurt with bunions).

- Wedding: July 2016 - Long Island, NY
I plan to have heels for my ceremony, and then switch into some bridal looking Toms (see below for my 1st and 2nd choice) after the start of the reception. Maybe first couple of dances I’ll keep the heels on, but honestly I rarely ever wear heels and I feel like I’d be fooling myself if I said I’d be wearing them for more than 30 minutes into the party 😛

I wore cowboy boots to go with my theme, but if I hadn’t then I definitely would have gone with comfy!

I wore the Nina Electras for about 10 straight hours on my feet and they are actually really comfortable for me. There was no cutting, squeezing, or pain the entire time. It wasn’t until I took them off that I realized it was sore from standing in heels all day.

i CANNOT deal with painful shoes. i hardly ever wear heels bc my feet will hurt for a week afterwards & usually i’ll end up wiht a numb toe or two. so i decided on wedges for the wedding! Theyre 3.5″ high, so nothing crazy. plus they’re so different, and im obsessed!!! i’ve only worn them for my bridal portraits (which was for ab 2 hours) but they were so comfortable, i didnt even notice my feet at all. Maybe because i was so distracted with my dress & looking right for the pictures. but more than likely, you’ll be pretty distracted on your wedding day than to think about your feet lol heres mine!

I’m weari ng heels but they’re quite low and seem really comfy whenever I’ve tried them, I have however also bought a pair of flats just in case:

I wore heels for the ceremony and pictures, then changed into white eyelet lace converse for the reception. BEST decision ever….my feet were very happy to put on comfy shoes!

I thought I had some comfy heels but boy was I wrong. I was fine throughout the ceremony but when we went to take photos OMG!!! I couldn’t stand them anymore. Luckily I took some flats so as soon as the first dance and father/daughter dance passed I put my flats on. My feet where so swollen that even the flats hurt. After a while my flats where sooo comfortable. I couldn’t feel my toes for a few days after the wedding

my Fiance works at nike so we will be having custom nikes made! I never wear heels and live in nikes so it only makes sense.

Comfort was my number one priorities for shoes since I wore a long dress and people wouldn’t see them much anyway. I found these at Target for, like $14.

I already own a white pair of heels that still look new but are worn in for my feet, then after the first dances etc i will be slipping into fur boots that im having embroidered “just married” on the back (winter wedding)

I’ve learned the hard way that uncomfortable shoes are never worth it..
My heels were really comfortable on our wedding day, I wore them from about 3 pm until 230 am with no discomfort. In my opinion, keeping the height under 4″ and buying good quality heels is key to comfort, I wore a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo pumps with a 3.5″ heel.
