Hi Bee’s –
Possibly silly question.
I am pinning potential dresses for our rehearsal dinner…and I just thought to myself is this the same dress most Bee’s where to the actual wedding rehearsal?
I know everyone doesn’t do a rehearsal and/or a dinner but it’s tradition in our families.
I planned on wearing a 1950’s inspired tea-length grace kelly like dress to the rehearsal dinner. But I will be SO dressed up if I wear it to the wedding rehearsal.
Sort of like this.
What do yall think?

Cute dress! I think it would be fine to wear the dress to both.

@Meant2Bee: I plan on going straight from the rehearsal to the rehearsal dinner, so I’ll definitely be wearing the same thing. I plan on getting one of those tighter fitting lace dresses, so I’ll be pretty dressed up!
That dress is adorable and I think you should rock it ALL day!

I say go for it. I was wearing a beautiful white, knee length dress and my girls were all in pretty dresses as well. Then came the guys…my brother wore jeans and a mario bros t shirt, the best man wore *shakes my head* shamrock green pants with a lovely plaid matching shirt, and the other groomsman wore a tshirt and shorts.
No one thought anything for it. That is a gorgeous dress. I say wear the heck out of it!

@s2bmrscook: Thanks! I’m pretty sure my FI’s groomsman would show up in Fraternity shirts and jeans.

No shame in being overdressed at the rehearsal… this day is about you and your FI! Wear a bedazzled neon pink ballgown if you want!
When I find myself in situations where I feel overdressed I always ask myself, “what would Carrie Bradshaw do?”
You are rehearsing for one of the most important days of your life – your family will probably want to take pictures and do you want to look back on photos of you in jeans and a tshirt walking down the aisle? Wear that red dress proudly, girl! It’s beautiful!
