When picking out jewellery for my wedding, it’s important to me that I can re-wear my jewellery. I love that every time I wear it I will be reminded of that wonderful day. For this reason (& because I adore yellow gold & pearls), I am intending to spend a little more than I originally hoped on my jewellery.
So bees, have you ever worn your jewellery again? Please show me photos of what your wore on your big day!

I voted yes, even though I’m not married yet. I got very casual wedding jewelry, so I’ll definitely be able to wear it again.

My obligatory photo 😉 this is the look I’m thinking of doing. The jewellery matches my understated style. I would TOTALLY wear the necklace again which in my book means it’s excellent cost-per-wear!

@linnylou_88: No, my necklace was from the 1920s and is too fragile to be worn. Then I lost my earrings on honeymoon sooo those won’t be worn again

@linnylou_88: I hope to, but haven’t yet!

I voted yes even though I’m not married, because I’m sure whatever I’ll choose I can wear again. Fiance and I go out from time to time and dress up, I have a few dressy cocktail dresses and I’m sure I can use the jewelry again (even at another person’s wedding !). I would just accessorize differently. 🙂

My bracelet is in a wedding shadow box, and my earrings–although just CZ studs–are a little too flashy for my every day style. So I said no.
But I love the idea of spending more and getting something with the intent of re-wearing!

Yeah, I wore my everyday necklace & some little pearl earrings. I wear the necklace every day and the earrings whenever we go out.

Yes! Everytime I put my “wedding” earrings or bracelet on, I am instantly transported back to our wedding day and I love it! I don’t wear them often, but I love to pull them out for special occasions/fancy date nights.

Nope. I put my items in my shadow box & hope that maybe one day my daughter will wear them (even if not on her wedding day).

Not married (or even officially engage. Yet!) but I will get something I can wear again. I dont buy any other kind of jewelry! I hate having stuff I cant use.

my earrings…all the time!

I wear the earrings sometimes…they’re studs but they’re pretty blingy, so it needs to be the right outfit. My necklace was my stepmom’s mother’s, so that went back home with my stepmom. I probably wouldn’t have worn that after the wedding though…it wasn’t even what I had initially envisioned for my wedding necklace, but it ended up being perfect! Not really an everyday kind of necklace though…

@linnylou_88: I haven’t. I only wore a pair of statement earrings and I haven’t had an event or dress that suited them properly since our wedding.

Hmm… Has anyone thought about using something like Adorn.com or Bag Borrow or Steal?
I normally don’t wear jewellery (but I normally wear full makeup and style my hair, like, everyday) so I was wondering about this, too. If I bought, I likely would never wear these earrings or other jewellery again.
