We are not married yet but my bosses are letting us use their condo in Hawaii for our honeymoon for free and are paying for our plane tickets. So, they are providing us with our honeymoon.
EDIT: I want to add that it was offered to us, I did not ask lol. And I work for my bosses who are a older married couple that treat me like a daughter. I did not even expect them or ever had a thought they would ever gift us anything like this.

We invited my boss and my CEO to our wedding, since I had worked directly for both of them during the time that I was at the company. I was absolutely thrilled that both of them and their wives traveled the distance to attend my wedding, and both couples gave us very generous gifts from our registries!

My boss gave us $800 in Gift Cards and gifts. It was so generous and unexpected.

The partners where I work had found out where we were having our Destination Wedding and had a bottle of Dom Perignon waiting for us when we got there. I thought that was lovely of them, though neither of us like champagne very much! We were not expecting anything, and clearly they were not invited and I had only been working there a short time, so it was a nice surprise. My husband was not working at the time so nothing from any boss of his 🙂
A honeymoon would have been nice, but we are a pretty small firm and they are very generous in so many ways already (we go on annual retreats with our partners/spouses for example to lovely places) I’d feel a bit awkward with that sort of gift to be quite honest! Like fishbone, I tend to like to remain somewhat private, though we do have a rather family oriented firm so we do socialize together.

Wow – you all have very generous bosses!! I am only on contract with my current employer, so I am not expecting anything, but we are inviting my FI’s boss to the wedding.

- Wedding: August 2012 - Historic Lougheed House
@OneDayMrsW: Same with me, but my supervisor (advisor?) is also the Vice Provost of the University – so dude makes some serious bucks pushin’ those papers, while I seriously hold down the lab for him. I’m not sure if he’d give me an extravagant gift like others have said, but I’m expecting something a BIT nicer, not going to lie.

I invited my boss to the wedding, him and his wife gave us money. My husband didn’t invite his boss though, and no gift (weren’t expecting anything from him, it’s a long story as they’re also family friends.)

I work for a large company (hosptial) so I am not expecting anything. When I worked on a different floor they did a card with money but I am not sure if they do that on the floor I currently work on.

@Bichon Frise: That’s an extremely generous gift! ~ My supervisor in the schools gave us a standard gift from our registry. I thought that was kind of her.

I said yes… However, my father was my boss at the time 🙂 He gave me a raise when I got married – on top of generous gifts, but those were because I was his daughter, not because I was his employee 🙂

Wow those are some nice gifts! I specifically did NOT invite my boss to our wedding, but my work team chipped in (including my boss) for a gift off our honeymoon registry which was nice – its pretty much what we always do when someone on the team gets married. It was probably $175.
DH didn’t invite his boss – he lives pretty far away anyway. No wedding present either.

My boss is actually a good family friend of my fiancee’s family (I graduated college last June and there were no jobs, so I was basically set up with my current job, not my proudest moment but this market stinks!!!), so he and his family will be at the wedding. I’m sure they will get us something, but I don’t expect anything huge like others have mentioned!!! Wowwww!

I didn’t invite my boss, but FIs boss is coming, so I’m sure he’ll bring a gift. My boss contributed to a gift at my school shower but that will be the extent of it.

You ladies have awesome bosses. My husband and I both work for the same small company and invited all our coworkers- cause we kind of had to. What was strange is that the three bosses -each of whom make above 500k – attented the wedding last month but none gave a gift. On the other hand the office admin got us a lovely and generous gift. I hate to say it, but to my bosses I wish they’d at least pay for their plate- haha!

My DH is a teacher so the principal and other teachers all chipped in and gave him cash. Definitely wasn’t 2k but was a decent amount coming from teachers who have a fairly small salary in our area.
