Yes, he did! But I had made it clear prior that if he wasn’t planning on getting down on one knee then don’t plan on asking 🙂 I meant a lot to me to know that he was doing this for real. Heres a pic!

At first he didn’t because we were sitting next to each other but before he put the ring on my finger he got down on his knee. That moment changed our lives forever and would be amazing on one knee or not but I am so glad he didLaughing

I would have liked it if my Fiance had kneeled, but I think it would have hurt his pride.

It was so cute… he got down on one knee for like a moment when he actually asked me, but then when I was laughing and being all excited before I answered he sat back down next to me.

I was sitting, so he got on his knees, not sure if it was one or both… or if he was just crouched down! he pulled out the ring and I just cryed lol. Dont really care what he was doing… it was all in the moment.

Mr. unromantic husband of mine, did Not get down on his knee. There was no official proposal or engagemnet between us. He started talking about marriage, then we both stalked. And I agree to ge married, simple like that…. We sure went through alot to be togteher, our relationship wasn’t smooth and all happy like other couples out there..

We sure have a huge cultural difference between us too. And I lay it out on the table to him when we dating too, there was no secrets between us. We both know we both going to struggle anyways…. But I don’t mind the struggle, because when a relationship take alot of hard work to be together, they will treasure it more.

It funny how my husabnd did not get down on his knee, did not give me a proposal, but…. then he doesn’t mind kneel down on his knee if that make me feel better about my height.

I’m 4’11, husband is 6’1 so we have 14 inches difference in height. When we have serious talk, we can’t stand next to each others and talk. I am ridiculously short next to him, so I always have to look up to his face. Then I make comments like: your so tall, I have to look up in order to look at your eyes…… Then he would kneel down on one of his knee, so I don’t have to look up to him when I talk.  I know he doing this only to make me feel better about my height, lol

He took me to the top of a lighthouse (just “sightseeing”), opened the camera bag to get the camera out to take pictures, took out a card and handed it to me, on the front of the envelope it says I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine, opened it up to the lyrics of his favorite song including Will you stay with me, Will you be my love, then he got down on one knee and proposed.  He asked me later whether I said yes or no because he was so in the moment he wasn’t sure lol  I told him THAT I do know, because I was so in shock I remember thinking, say something, say something, dammit!!  lol

But I’m not big into rules, each relationship is special in its own way.  It’s all about the person and the love.

He didn’t ask my mom for permission (dad passed away years ago way before we met), and I joked that if he didn’t mind I wanted him to ask my mom for permission to marry me, but that we should go have dinner with her and he should make his signature meat and rice dish with lamb or such and then bring it to the dinner that way he can ask to exchange me for a lamb.  He thought that was cute.  I told him he was getting off cheap because I’m worth at least two sheep and a goat.

My Fiance did and it was amazing! I wasn’t sure if he would because I know it wasn’t comfortable for him but he wanted me to have the traditional proposal. It was perfect!! I also started a youtube channel documenting my wedding planning! Here’s the link to my proposal explanation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ff8m2_GEGoo

He sure did! He had to get up and hug me quickly after as I was balling my eyes out. He asked for my dads approval on Christmas day 2014 and proposed on February 14, 2015.. It was perfect 🙂
