@tiffytraxler88: Ugh I hate how shallow people can be:/ I’m so sick of the dirty looks and eye rolls lol, a committed relationship shouldn’t require a piece of metal to prove it, the ring is just the icing on the cake and I might just go bonkers on the next person that has a problem with it hehe. How did you deal with your friend?

@ErinBlue: she’s a person that’s really jealous of other people’s happiness if she isn’t happy and we aren’t that close so I just ignored it, and didn’t really reply to any of her messages or texts for a few months and she obviously isn’t a part of my wedding party as much as she wanted to be lol.

He never proposed per se. We agreed we wanted to get married, and then bought my ring when I found one I liked lol.
I didn’t want a mushy proposal.. I’m just not that kinda girl. Also, I wanted a say in my ring, and let him know that early on.
If you’re communicating adults who discuss future goals and already budget for stuff together, I don’t understand how a proposal could exactly come as a surprise, anyway.
I really wouldn’t have it any other way.

my man proposed with the promise ring he gave me.. Symbolised his promise.. Then whipped out another ring to present his forever promise (purchased by his family). Then he bought me my dream moissy. (:

Fiance proposed with the ring. Apparently he had it hidden in a pocket under the driver’s seat in his car for weeks! He also picked the ring out totally on his own and had the local jeweler he bought it from so some customization on the setting, which I was pretty impressed with. Our tastes don’t always line up, be he did an amazing job picking out a ring that’s timeless and my style.
