- Wedding: September 2009
We just received our disc with our wedding images. I had super high hopes as our engagement photos were amazing and the photos she blogged were fantastic (so much so they will be in a wedding magazine at the end of the month) but I am REALLY disappointed with a couple of things:
1. the number of images we received (approximately 400 or so, and we hired them for 8 hours). I’ve spoken with married friends who have received 1000+ images.
2. what I will call “missed shots,” you know some of the detail shots…the centerpieces (probably one of my main issues), the luminarias I made that went onto the patio, etc… down to only having one halfway decent photo of hubby and I with his family, etc… I did ask the photographer about the centerpiece photos, etc… and she explained that because she and her husband (second shooter) were with us (we had a shuttle for the wedding party and another one for wedding guests) that they weren’t able to photograph the reception room like they normally would.
Just curious if anyone else had any issues with the quantity of photos as well as the content? I know that if I was unhappy with the pictures of us (or felt there weren’t enough) we could do a second shoot, but that’s not going to fix the problem of not having pictures of our reception flowers, etc… I know I need to just let it go but I am just feeling bummed out…after all of the planning that goes into the day and to not have it all recorded.
