Echoing pretty much all PPs, the first trimester drug on due to feeling so miserable all the time! I got a BFP when I was just shy of 4 weeks pregnant, so knew pretty early! I felt GREAT those first 2 weeks, then BAM right at 6 weeks I got slapped upside the head with morning all-day sickness. Made the next 8 weeks go pretty dang slow, I mean, 8 weeks is almost 2 months and that’s a long time to feel like shit all day most days! Then the sickness disappeared about as instantly as it appeared around weeks 13-14 for me, and then for a long time I barely felt pregnant at all and basically like my old self again. That’s when time REALLY sped up, I think because my days didn’t revolve around feeling like crap all the time and I was finally able to enjoy things again (like eating! Lol). Around weeks 22-23 I popped out an adorable belly and felt cute-pregnant finally.

However, that adorable cutesy belly is now ginormous and really getting in the way of life. It is really hard to do things and I do not play the helpless card well! Carrying things, lifting things (especially from off the floor), getting dressed, showering, shaving, walking, is all much more difficult with this huge belly. It PISSES me off when I can’t do things I would normally do because of how huge I am. I also have round-the-clock heartburn, which is only slightly less miserable than morning sickness was. All that combined with just being anxious to meet this little person who’s been growing inside me for the better part of a year have really caused things to slow down again since about week 30 or so. Even now I’m 36 weeks and I’m like..”4 more weeks until my due date? I don’t know if I can handle another month of being so huge and helpless with terrible heartburn!” I am sooooo very ready to not be pregnant anymore, which probably means I will end up being at least a week over due 😛

I try not to think about it in hopes that time will go by faster but no such luck lol I do think once Halloween rolls around that time will go by super fast. The holidays always have a way of slipping by. I am due in January and I am glad I will have a lot of other non baby things to think about during my last few months!! Come on Christmas!
