Like many brides I would like to lose some poundage before our wedding and was wondering if it will impact my ring size?

@Honey-Bee: Yes! It definitely will. But of course it depends on how much total weight you lose.
I lost about 20 pounds (from 140 to 120) and my ring size did not change.
I lost about 30 pounds after getting my e- ring. When I got measured for my e- ring I ended up with a 6.25. I just took it in to get resized and they had to take it down to a 5.25. I probably could have had it made smaller but chose to leave it just in case my fingers swell this summer.
I’ve lost 35 lbs since I got engaged. Ring size went from a 9 1/4 to and 8 so far! Hoping for 25 more pounds before the end of october. I seriously want a cheeseburger lol
I’ve lost 50 pounds and my Grandma’s ring that didn’t fit my finger is now too loose on it so I would say at least 2 sizes lost.
I guess I’m the exception. I have gained 40# since getting engaged (shhhh) and my finger size is still the same.
When I left high school we got a school graduation ring (which I promptly lost, boo) and I was sized as a P (7 1/2) for my right hand ring finger.
90 lbs lost & almost 10 years later… my engagement ring is a K (5 1/4)! And I’ve ordered a K for the RHR that’s almost arrived too.
My main problem is the extra skin that’s left. My ring’s actually a tad slippery and could probably go down a little bit, but I can barely get it over my knuckle at the moment 🙁
I did…ive lost about 20 lbs so far -noticed my ring is verrrry loose.Going from a 7 to a 6
I have lost 30lbs since October…I have 20 more to go by October…I got this 😉
This was before I got engaged, but I have a RHR that was resized to half a size smaller after I lost 20 lbs.
I’ve lost about 50 pounds and should get my ring resized – right now it’s a 7 3/4 but last time I was in a jewelry store and playing with the sizing rings, I fit a 5 3/4. I’m still losing weight though, so I don’t want to do anything until I’m finished. And ever then, I might just size it down a little and put in a sizing bridge. I’m afraid resizing it too much will change the look of my ring. I’ve got a 3/4 eternity band. I guess I’ll find out eventually….
Went gluten free earlier last year and dropped 12lbs of bloat by New Years and ring size went down a full size. Coworker started pilates six months ago, dropped about 7lbs I believe she said and her ring loosened a half size.
My ring size went down but I lost over 120lbs. I was a 7-7.5 and now I’m barely a 5.
